Summary
We are seeking to add a engaged, driven and passionate commercial account manager to our team. We would welcome the right candidate at our mid-level position. Candidates at this level are expected to have at least 2 years of commercial specific insurance experience servicing commercial clients of any size and be knowledgeable about policy coverage language, policy review and account management services.
Role Description
The Commercial Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for properly and effectively managing an existing account of commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage client accounts, including communication with clients, carriers, and team members.
- Offer advice and assistance with policy renewals, changes, and coverage needs.
- Ensure consistent and accurate documentation of all processes in management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve team goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a current and active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Must have at least 2 years in current position in commercial insurance Account Management or Customer Service experience, preferably in the independent field.
- Technical knowledge of all lines of commercial coverages for small and middle market policy forms.
- Must have prior experience managing accounts written with standard carriers and surplus lines brokers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
